There are several quick approaches to correcting a misaligned smile. Short term orthodontics (Teeth straightening) which can be done in as little as 6 months, or using super thin durable porcelain veneers such as DaVinci Veneers, are two great gentle approaches, with quick results.
Gaps between teeth can be caused by a number of reasons, and there are a variety of options to correct them. These include, brace treatment, dental implants, no bone implants, full upper implants, all on 4 or composite veneers (highly polished white filling), porcelain veneers.
Worn teeth can be result of problems with your bite, an acidic diet, night-time teeth grinding or missing teeth. The aim is to diagnose and treat the cause, then perfect the cosmetic appearance to regain a beautiful smile.
Sometimes gum problems can lead to gum recession, or alternatively, sometimes there may be too much gum on show when you smile (gummy smile). These two problems can be solved with simple gum treatments.
Discolouration can be a result of diet, medications or damaged teeth. Once the cause is diagnosed, they can treated and returned to a whiter brighter smile. Techniques include Teeth Whitening, Porcelain Veneers, Cosmetic Composite Fillings.
Often, there are a number of things that need to be addressed in order to create a perfect smile. Dental decay, broken teeth, missing teeth, gum problems etc. By taking a multidisciplinary approach all health issues are initially addressed to stabilise the teeth and mouth. This is then followed by a full mouth re-design to create a perfect smile.
Dental implants are considered the best permanent and most predictable solution for replacing missing teeth. By replacing the teeth with dental implants, gaps are closed up, ability to enjoy all food returns and the appearance of the mouth and smile is greatly improved.
Offering comfortable treatment by providing the most up to date technology, and highly researched implant systems.
Single tooth replacement treatment is usually suitable when a tooth is missing already or it is damaged/weak and needs to be removed. It is the best way to replace a missing tooth. The new tooth is carefully and skilfully crafted to match neighbouring teeth for a completely natural appearance.
Dental Implants are a great way to replace several missing teeth, whether they are individual teeth or missing in sequence. They can be used to support crowns, stabilise dentures or support dental bridges.
Same day implants are a cutting edge treatment option, resulting in fully functional teeth in one day. A great permanent solution for getting rid of loose dentures, minimal treatment time, minimal appointments, can be more cost effective, teeth are removed and you can leave with a new smile. we provide all kinds of implants such as all on 4, full upper, no bone and full mouth.
Dental implants and implant dentures can be used as anchors to stabilise dentures to stop them from moving around in the mouth. This makes them feel more solid and removes the issue of dentures becoming loose and painful over time, and takes away the fear of them ever falling or moving when you are talking or eating and no dentures.
Dental Implants are replacement roots usually made of titanium which integrate with your own bone. To this is attached the visible tooth part, or the crown. Because the implants bonds with the bone, it is the strongest and most long lasting method of tooth replacement.
The process starts with an initial complimentary consultation to learn about the treatment options available, followed by an in-depth clinical assessment. This clinical assessment includes taking clinical photographs, radiographs (X-rays), CT Scan (if required to assess bone), full mouth, gum, and bone health check. After this a bespoke treatment plan is created, and the best type of dental implant and size is selected. A full treatment plan is created, outlining the treatment stages.
Regular dental examination and hygiene visits help to prevent dental problems, and maintain a healthy mouth.
If you are looking to find out the state of your dental and gum health, an indepth clinical assessment is usually a good place to start. After a full assessment, the findings will be presented to you, and any areas of concern highlighted, with the best treatment options for you.
Once good oral health is achieved, we can discuss with you the various maintenance membership plans. These include regular check ups, hygiene and emergency care, to help you keep your mouth looking great.
Advanced techniques in orthodontics and teeth straightening treatment, allow for adults to quickly and discretely straighten teeth.
Such as Six Month Smiles, Quick Straight Teeth, C-Fast These systems involve braces on the front of the teeth. However, as they are aimed for adults, they use the most discrete wires and tooth coloured/clear brackets to make them less noticeable.
Such as Incognito and Secret Smile Lingual braces offer the accuracy and speed of traditional fixed braces. However, they are placed on the inner surface of the teeth (behind teeth). This makes them completely invisible, since there is no part of the brace on the outer surface of the teeth.
Such as Invisalign, QST and Clear Aligners These clear braces or aligners can be thought of as very thin gum shields which are placed over your teeth. Each aligner is worn for a couple of weeks and then changed to the next one in the series. This process gradually moves teeth into the desired position, whilst remaining discrete.
Over time, day to day emotions, laughter and smiles, as well as health choices can lead to creases, lines and wrinkles being etched onto your face. These most often show themselves as laughter lines, crow’s feet around the eyes, forehead furrows, and foldings or creasing around the lips, mouth and nose areas. The same thing can happen to your hands where daily washing and exposure to the elements can cause hands to have an aged appearance.
As well as this, volume can diminish over time, sunken cheeks and thinning of the lips, all contributing to an aged appearance.
There are now a number of treatment options available carried out by our Facial Aesthetician, who is also a fully qualified dentist. All dentists study the anatomy and muscle structure of the head and neck as well as the mouth so rest assured you are in the best hands.
The first stage is a full consultation. In this essential stage, we are able to understand what you would like to have done and the end appearance that you are expecting to achieve. Using extensive experience of facial aesthetic procedures, we are then able to recommend the most appropriate course of treatment.
